SONY CD-ITII - 2001 - US
Ok, so the "Slide Case" here is a gimmick, but if you create a Photoshop template and use adhesive paper, they can look like a DCC and quite cool.
Yeah, the shell is welded and not screwed.
This however is no CDing2, this is a superb Type II.
Great dynamic range, especially with recordings that need Bass. A touch of negative bias, and you'll find this cassette really performs.
As a package it's quirky; as recording media, it's fantastic.
Note: October 1, 2021 First time offered here. These were some of the very last Type II released by Sony.
