Performance: This basic 2-head deck is working well and as intended. I just re-tested it (Oct. 5, 2025), and it passed in flying colours. See 2 videos on it... however, on the second video, the audio was removed. I've kept the video as it shows the unit really well. The video was showing the results of a recording. It performed beautifully and sounded amazing on a used Maxell UR tape! Sometimes, the most basic of decks can really surprise you.
Serviced: The deck is performing well within its playback and recording functions.
It was serviced early in 2024, but it hasn't gotten much use at all. Time for it to find a new home.
Shipping: Recent shipping of a similar deck to New Jersey, from Ontario, Canada, cost $67.00 USD.
US customers: Please consider that this deck... manufactured in Japan ~45 years ago, may be subjected to a 15%. tariff rate in 2025.
