Pionsonic EF ~1988 - HK
Wow! Is this another FAKE cassette? Who knows? The name is a mixture of Pioneer and Panasonic, but the tape totally looks like a 1986 SONY... EF, to boot! The date? It's sort of an educated guess. If Sony produced this version of their EF in 1986, it stands to reason, these Pionsonic tapes would have been made sometime after. I picked 1988.
It does not state where it was manufactured, but something tells me these may have been produced in Hong Kong. There is a vast selection of examples on 45spaces.com showing FAKE cassettes made in Hong Kong. It will easily tell you and show you, that in all likeliness, these also came from HK. The king nation for Type "0" cassettes, or even "Below Zero" cassettes! ;))
The Last 2 pictures shown here are of a real Sony EF cassette, which is not yet available.
Note 1: 60 Mins: Only 1 available and probably never to be seen again. SOLD

About Pionsonic:
Pionsonic was a Hong Kong–based trading brand that sourced low‑cost consumer electronics and private‑label audio products during the 1990s and early 2000s. Their cassettes were manufactured by anonymous Guangdong OEM factories, reflecting the era’s common practice of re-branding mass‑produced ferric tapes for international distribution. The name was marketing; the manufacturing was elsewhere. making Pionsonic a typical floating label rather than a true tape producer.
