SE-8 EQ Performance: This unit has never been serviced while I've had it, but it's working beautifully. Running one last test before listing it here. See video(s) and pictures. Sorry, videos always have to be kept short!
About the TU-S5 Tuner: Buy the EQ, get the Tuner for FREE. The Tuner is included with the EQ, basically at no charge. It will be listed at $35.00 on a separate listing, but if you buy both, the $35.00 will be credited to your credit card, PayPal or bank account (please allow 4-5 days for credit processing) after you confirm having received it. If you buy the Tuner separately, then you pay the $35.00 plus shipping. Regardless, both units will have to be shipped separately, and that's where the cost is. The Tuner being light 4.2 kg (9.3 lbs) will not be too costly to ship.
TU-S5 Tuner Performance: The FM is working, but something isn't quite right. It tunes into several stations, but it has a hard time dialing some of them in. Too much static while switching between stations, and the bottom line is that it needs some technician's attention to be brought to its glory. It's a heck of a Tuner. Please see the listing on it.
Shipping: Recent shipping of a similar size (and weight) cassette deck to New Jersey, from Ontario, Canada, cost $67.00 USD.
