Collector's Corner Commentary: Some tapes will never get the recognition they deserve, no matter how well they test, or how clearly their performance proves the point. Tony Villa is absolutely right when he compares this BASF Ferro Extra I to a TDK AD... the results line up, yet the AD routinely sells for more than three to four times the price. That’s the cassette world in a nutshell: perception often outweighs reality, and ‘looking pretty’ tends to matter more than actually being pretty.
