BASF Ferro Extra I - 1993 - US

VERY SPECIAL PRICE! While quantities last... and so, going, going, gone!

BASF may be most well known for developing Chromium Dioxide Type II tape, but they were no slouch at good old Type I either.

A lot of BASF Ferric tape was used for pre-recorded cassettes. National Audio Company are still using BASF tape to load into their well regarded cassettes.

Here we have some of the last Type I that BASF (now EMTEC) sold.

Give it some NR and negative bias and you'll find a Type I that's almost up there with the TDK AD, at a more reasonable price.

Please note, that although these cassettes are new and sealed, there may be some damage to the outer wrapper.

Note 1: 60 Minutes: Only one "Large Case" cassette available. Assembled in Brazil. Tape made in Germany.
Note 2: The "Thin Case" 60/90 Minutes cassettes were made in South Korea by Saehan.
