Most were removed due to the well‑known brittle‑wrapper issues of the late 1970s, and some were opened by previous owners using an X‑Acto knife, which in a few cases left light scoring on the outer plastic. Equipped with modern coating lines and precision shell‑molding facilities, Raks produced ferric, chrome, and pseudo‑chrome tapes such as Super Stereo, High Dynamic, and the popular CD series. Their large‑scale capacity allowed them to manufacture for brands including TDK, Sony, Philips, and Grundig. By the mid‑1990s, Raks expanded into optical media and electronics, but cassette production declined as global demand fell. Today, Raks tapes are valued for their distinctive designs and solid, reliable performance.

RAKS HD II - 1978 - EU - Made in Turkey (TR)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0254/5208/5345/files/3259EA7D-127F-4D40-ADED-224D46FE5A88.jpg?v=1790908634
