BASF Sound I - 1997 - EU

BASF may be most well known for developing Chromium Dioxide Type II tape, but they were no slouch at good old Type I either.

A lot of BASF Ferric tape was used for pre-recorded cassettes. National Audio Company are still using BASF tape to load into their well regarded cassettes.

Give it some NR and negative bias and you'll find a Type I that's almost up there with the TDK AD, at a more reasonable price.

There are 3 variants in stock, if you'd prefer a certain one, please put a note on your order.

Please note, that although these cassettes are new and sealed, there may be some cosmetic to the outer wrapper.
