Quantegy AVX - 1996 - US
Quantegy at this time was an amalgam of Ampex & 3Ms magnetic media divisions.
These are Korean made (Saehan I recon) and are a very decent basic Type 1, with a very sombre and "professional" look to them.
They're actually quite musical, but since they weren't available in the EU, they're more of a novelty than anything.
I have them in different lengths.
*NOTE* Even though these are brand new and from master cases, they are not individually sealed
